Experience a family float trip on the French Broad River.

The family float trip is about 5 river miles, lasting 1 1/2 hours. You will be picked up from the resort for a short bus ride to the launch area. During the trip the guides will tell you stories about the history of the area and the river while you float and swim past scenic mountain vistas. It is not uncommon to see Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons and Egrets along the way. Photos will be taken of your group that will be available to view and purchase after the trip. All safety equipment is provided.

The French Broad was designated as a state scenic river by the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Act of 1968. The French Broad picks up the Little Pigeon River then flows through a wide gap in Bays Mountain before joining the Holston River at Knoxville.
