Works alone, or as part of a team, cleaning hotel rooms by performing duties assigned by the housekeeping manager. Housekeepers must have a can-do attitude and good customer service to converse with guests.
Lifeguard’s are part of the aquatic team and assist in the daily operations of the water park. Oversee guest safety while in water park, successfully complete lifeguard training class provided by Wilderness, assist in maintain cleanliness of water park, attend monthly in-service training, participate in contributing to guest satisfaction, requires regular and predictable attendance, and all other duties as assigned by management.
Accommodate resort guests by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, making and confirming reservations and presenting statement to and collecting payments from departing guests. Food & Beverage Outlet Supervisor is responsible for assisting the F&B Manager/Director with all food and beverage operations and related services for Wilderness at the Smokies. Constant hands-on attention must be given to the quality of product, customer service and outlet cleanliness to ensure the highest of standards is met.
The Monty and Molly characters are an important position as they are the ambassadors for Wilderness at the Smokies. The person who wears the Monty or Molly costume must be able to connect with guests without speaking. The characters walk around both properties and greet guests with waves, handshakes and “high fives”. Attends Community events on an as-needed basis.
The F&B Supervisor is responsible for assisting the F&B Manager/Director with all food and beverage operations and related services for Wilderness at the Smokies. Constant hands-on attention must be given to the quality of product, customer service and outlet cleanliness to ensure the highest of standards is met.
Ensure superior customer service by interaction with guests. Responsible for taking guest food & beverage orders, inputting orders into computer for transmittal to kitchen staff and delivery food on a timely basis. Ensures restaurant environment stays clean by clearing tables and assisting with cleaning and re-stocking duties for stations.
The Activities Assistant is to interact with our guests to ensure they have memorable experiences during their stay. He/she is to organize and implement engaging individual and group activities for a varying population of resort guests. The Activities Assistant is also responsible for maintenance of storage areas, record keeping, decorating for guestroom parties, and execution of mascot appearances. Assistant will be well versed in promotions, events, pricing, and guest amenities to meet all guest requests.
Dishwashers clean, sort, and stack the dishes, and then load them into dishwashing machines. Dishwashers fill the machines with soap and turn them on. When the dishes are clean, dishwashers unload them and put them in their proper places so that other kitchen workers and waiters and waitresses can find them.
Ensure superior customer service by taking orders for food, preparing food that is ordered, receiving monies for all items located in the deli and ensuring cleanliness throughout this Food and Beverage outlet. Restocking all deli and market inventory, on an as-needed basis. Possess excellent guest relations/communication skills by dealing with customers in an efficient and professional manner.
Assist the security department by dispatching security personnel and by promoting and maintaining the company’s security and property protection programs of employees and guests by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Ensures compliance of the company’s security and property protection programs of associates and guests by performing the duties listed below.
– Conducts the following activities: first response, fire prevention and firefighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information and investigation of accidents and criminal acts in accordance with company policies and applicable laws/regulations.
– Ensures compliance of safety programs.
– Addresses and resolves complaints/problems within security/safety scope of responsibility.
The aquatic maintenance technician is responsible for the daily operations of the waterparks at Wilderness at the Smokies. This includes, but is not limited to: water testing, inspections, heating/ventilation, preventative maintenance and repair of rides, grounds, and buildings.
Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly and attractive hotel rooms. Assign duties, inspect work and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and take corrective action, if necessary. Take inventory and train new associates
Responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests, following standard recipes. Skilled in mixing ingredients (such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters) to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serving food items to guests, as needed. Ordering stock from Commissary and re-stocking inventory, as needed.
An Arcade Associate for Wilderness at the Smokies is responsible for providing guests with a safe and positive experience in the Arcade section of Adventure Forest. This includes, Assists guests with purchase of access to rides, acts as cashier, gets redemption of points from guests and gives them correct merchandise, and operates all ride controls/control panels for rides, ropes course, rock wall, mini-golf or laser tag.
