Wilderness at the Smokies Testimonials
We had a fabulous 2 days at the Wilderness resort. The end of January is a great time to go. Our room at Stone Hill Lodge was great and the indoor water park was so much fun. There were no lines and we just about had the park to ourselves. This was an early Valentines present for me and my husband because we keep the grandkids on the actual Valentines weekend. We went on a Wednesday and Thursday and it could not have been any better. The staff was very friendly and the water was warm. The outdoor hot tub, the tubes and the wave pool were our favorites. My family absolutely loved the waterpark, we stayed at Stone Hill Lodge and the shuttle bus was great. There’s so many activities for the kids, my wife and I had time to ride the water slides by ourselves. That itself was worth the money. We just got back from a 5 day stay at the Wilderness at the Smokies and had a terrific time! It is well worth the money spent! The waterpark is wonderful and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was wonderful! And, my favorite…the room was very clean and beautifully decorated. We already plan to come back next year. We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and you never have to leave the hotel! The kids are already asking when we can go back! The outdoor pool was a pleasant surprise and my 3 year old LOVED the indoor/outdoor hot pool. My 7 year old didn’t leave the wavepool and my husband and I loved relaxing…this hotel/waterpark has it all! We had such a wonderful time at the resort. We will definitely be back next year. The service was excellent, the food was good, rooms were comfortable, and the water park area was very entertaining for our kids. I must say we really enjoyed the music played at the pool.
