Mountainside Cabins Coming to the Wilderness at the Smokies

View Our Cabins Grand Opening Special

We recently began construction on 28 new freestanding cabins that we know our guests are going to absolutely love!

According to Pete Tennis, our managing director, “The demand for cabins that are tailored for any family or group size looking for the perfect space they can share together is on the rise. So, we are excited to be unveiling our plans for these three new lodging options ranging in size from 1,300 to 3,900 square feet. We’re confident they will quickly become a sought-after destination for family reunions and gatherings with groups of friends.”

All of these new cabins will be located past our new Villas on Gists Creek Road just across the street from where the road intersects with Reed Schoolhouse Road. A shuttle service will be available to take guests to and from our Stone Hill and River Lodge, as well as Soaky Mountain Waterpark (when open) so they can utilize our resort amenities. The first units are scheduled to be completed in March 2024 and the rest will continue to be unveiled throughout 2024.

Here are some details about all of these great new options, so that you can start planning your next vacation.
