So, what does your title mean you do at Wilderness at the Smokies?
Being the F & B manager at Camp Social requires me to wear a lot of different hats. I am responsible for the day to day operation of the restaurant. I do scheduling, payroll, food cost, inventory, sometimes bussing tables, dishwashing and cashiering if need be.  All aspects of the restaurant require my full attention.

What is the best part of your job?
My staff! I am so appreciative of the team I have and I tell them that I am successful in my position because of them. I enjoy the guests we have and we strive to make them feel welcome like family.

How long have you worked at the Wilderness at the Smokies and in what roles?
I have been here almost ten years. I started on May 1, 2015 as the manager and that is where I am still today and hopefully will retire from Camp Social.

Favorite wet attraction at the Wilderness at the Smokies?
The lazy river.

Favorite dry attraction at the Wilderness at the Smokies?
The arcade is so much fun!

Favorite food venue at Wilderness at the Smokies?
Camp Social, of course!

Favorite thing to eat at Wilderness at the Smokies?
I really like the shrimp tacos and the grilled chicken sandwich we have here.

Piece of advice for first time guests?
To make sure that they tour the entire resort. There is so much to do here that you don’t even have to leave the property to find good food or fun!
