We’ve conjured up a lineup of guest-exclusive activities for little ghosts, goblins, and everyone in between. So pack those costumes, bring your Halloween spirit, and get ready for a spooktacular stay filled with surprises around every corner!

Halloween Treat Package I September 25-October 31
Sink your fangs into this delightfully spooky treat package! Packed with goodies that are both creepy and kooky, it’s available while supplies last!

Spooky Bedtime Story I September 25-October 31
Curl up with a mysterious and spooky story paired with a frighteningly fun plush for this package. We can’t forget the ghoulish cookies and milk that would wake any zombie from the grave!

Moonshine Run: Pumpkin Putt I October 1-31
Get ready pumpkins are about to take over Moonshine Run mini golf inside our Adventure Forest! Enjoy glowing pumpkins, colorful jack-o-lanterns, and plenty of Halloween fun in our family-friendly blacklight mini golf adventure. Whether you’re here for the pumpkins, the putting, or just a little Halloween fun, Pumpkin Putt is the perfect way to celebrate the season!

Fright Night at Peak I Friday, October 30
Double, double, toil and trouble—join us at the Peak Rooftop Bar & Eatery on Friday, October 30 at 8 pm for witches’ brews and a showing of a cult-classic Halloween movie! Grown-up ghouls welcome.

Coloring Contest I Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31
Calling all mini-monsters! Guests arriving Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31 can pick up a kids’ Halloween coloring sheet and crayons at check-in. Drop off your little’s masterpiece at the River Lodge Front Desk in the designated entry box by noon on Sunday, November 2. One lucky little artist will be announced on our social media Monday, November 3—and win a Wilderness gift card!

Monty and Molly’s Monster Mash I Saturday, October 31
Get your groove (and your scare) on! Join Monty and Molly the Moose and our Activities Team for a monstrous dance party on Saturday, October 31 from 6:30–8 pm at the Peak Rooftop. Expect monster-sized fun with lively tunes, creepy crafts and tasty treats to keep you dancing like the undead.

Trick or Treat Trail I Saturday, October 31
Guests staying on Friday, October 3, don’t forget to grab your Trick or Treat Trail map at check-in! From 6–9 pm, costumed kiddos can haunt twelve spooky stops along the trail to collect sweet treats and eerie little toys. It’s the perfect way to add some extra boo to your stay!

Costume Contest I Saturday, October 31
Creep it real at our spook-tacular Costume Parade & Contest at the Peak!
Parade begins at 6 pm from the River Lodge Lobby
Judging at 6:30 pm at Peak Rooftop Bar & Eatery
Categories include:

  • Tiny Terrors (Ages 0–5)
  • Little Ghouls and Goblins (Ages 6–11)
  • Teen Screams (Ages 12–18)
  • Grown-Up Ghouls (Ages 19+)
  • Family/Group Get-Ups (No age or group size limit—the more, the scarier!)

Winners in each category will receive hauntingly awesome prizes—and bragging rights from beyond the grave! 👑 Reminder: costumes must be family-friendly. Think spooky, not nightmare-fuel.

Jack-O-Lantern Showdown I Friday, October 30- Saturday, October 31
Stroll through our Camp Social and check out the spooktacular jack-o-lanterns carved by our talented staff! Vote for your favorite carved creation from 12 pm on Friday, October 30 through Saturday, October 31 at 9 pm. The winning pumpkin will be crowned (well…stemmed) and announced on our social media Monday, November 2, 2026.
